ecopacha

Just some little things we are trying to do in our everyday life to support and protect our Planet.

We will pick up tips and suggestions along the way, to make sure we can improve and do better.

Volunteers Collecting Trash on Beach

clean up!

Beaches, forests or parks. Any place any time.

We encourage our Pachamama Community to clean up after theirselves and if they see plastic and trash around them, we encourage to pick it up and dispose it wisely.

When possible, we volunteer with local associations and we participate at the Clean Ups events.

When possible, we also organise small clean ups for our guests to join us and give their little help.

Clean ups help remove plastic pollution from the ecosystem and thus protect local wildlife and nature.

recycle

Recycling reduces the need for extracting (mining, quarrying and logging), refining and processing raw materials all of which create substantial air and water pollution. As recycling saves energy it also reduces greenhouse gas emissions, which helps to tackle climate change. We recycle and Pachamama Community will recycle too!

We use different containers to select and separate the waste produced and the guests are invited to do the same.

eco cleaning

Globally, billions of litres of chemicals and supplies are used for cleaning purposes each year. The results of this is that between 80,000 and 140,000 chemical contaminants from cleaning products can be found in our wastewaters. We try to use eco-friendly cleaning products only.

The benefits of sustainable cleaning:

🌱Natural products increase people’s health.

🌱Eco friendly products don’t use single use non-recyclable plastic bottles.

🌱Eco friendly products don’t pollute the ground.

🌱Eco friendly products don’t pollute the waters.

stay local

We encourage our Community to buy local food when in our Surfhouses and buy supermarket goods only if unable to find another solution.

Locally grown food provides several benefits:

🌱It’s often pesticides free.

🌱It’s healthier and it’s high quality

🌱It reduces the pollution (no long travelling, less packaging)

🌱Support the local farmers and the local community

less plastic

We try our best to replace plastic with other sustainable options.

In our Surfhouses we will show you how we are trying to be sustainable and how you can join the habits to support and protect our Planet.

🌱No plastic bottles

🌱No plastic glasses

🌱No single-use dishes and cutlery

🌱Drink Tap water or from glass bottles

eco sharing

We will always connect people with people and make them share ideas, and ideals.

In house and on social media our message will always be present:

protect our Planet, protect Pachamama 🌍💙

Save the Planet
